This app works well. It gives your ATT Tilt an authentic HTC look. (I can only speak for the Tilt with the Jan 08 ROM.) It also adds the ringer on/off. One tip for installing: Since CommMgr is running most of the time, the installer can get confused and give you a security message. This is because the existing CommMgr is already running and has the files open while you are trying to install. Put your TytynII into flight mode and reboot it prior to installing. Then install as soon as it comes up, and it installs find and works great. NICE JOB, and THANK YOU to the Author.

When it was installed on my Mogul it said that it may not display properly because it was made for a previous version of WM. That was not a joke! It does not uninstall properly either! ARG!

Any better suggestions. Returning the phone is not an option for me. I need a solution to return the CommManager to its original state...

Verizon VX6800 (TyTn/Mogul) WM6.1 here. Same trouble as described, however this fixed it for me. 1. Remove Programs. You'll get the "can't remove everything" error. 2. put the phone in flight mode. It'll freeze. 3. Reboot (soft, not hard reset) 4. When it comes back up, reinstall the comm manager by clicking on the CAB file again. 5. Answer OK when it says to reboot. 6. Should work fine at this point. Cullen.

Hello everybody, responding to the problems that everybody was having with this program. I found a better program with two more features. If anyone knows how to upload the software I will be glad to share it. And all you have to do is install it and then it reboots and it working just that simple.

I tried the trick with flightmode as well, though, without succes. The right permissions aren't available to perform the installation, it says. And, before the reinstall, it mentions that it can't remove the previous version (which is required before a new installation can be performed) Thnx Mr handyman, for providing such nice software!! )-:
