Hey all I just recently purchased a 8525 from someone but I cant get my phone to unlock and the touch screen does not work ( the touch screen not working was disclosed before transaction took place) The person who I bought it from told me he just put windows mobile 6 on it and everything worked fine other than the screen situation. I know the phone works because he showed me all the features the phone had and how to use the phone without using the touch screen.

I did a hard reset on the phone but I cannot get past the align screen. The touch screen will detect the stylus but after doing the align 6 or 7 times I am thinking that something is wrong.

Try to flash the rom - I've really locked up my phone several times trying software until i found a setup i liked - just go to this website and download the software for your phone and it will return it to factory settings, works for me everytime.
