Can You Permanently Disable 3G?

i Use My HTC Tilt For Aim/WM/GoogleTalk and wen it gos to sleep mode the WI-FI turns off yet the data software forces the 3G Connection and at times i forget only to have 2 hours of 3G Billed. i don't want nor have a data plan.

is there away to permanently disable 3G?

I would suggest that you disable your connection by messing up the "GPRS" connection settings.

It's "3G", by the way...

Messing up the GPRS did work now it no longer connects, thank you.
